For the first time ever, I had my treatment at Flawless inside their "private" room! Yay!

PRICE :
Each session of the Shape and Sculpt starts from Php 1,000 up to Php 5,000, depending on the area to be treated. It will last for 15 minutes up to 30 minutes depending on which area you want to get done and how much you body requires. You can also have 2 treatments per day as long as the 2 areas don't have the same sweat exit. 

A gel will be applied on the area to prevent the Shape and Sculpt device/machine to hurt your skin/bones during the treatment. 

The first part is for the fat trimming while the second part is for muscle toning. The treatment does not hurt at all but my concern is that it tickles so much! This could be an issue especially if you are the type of person that gets tickled easily. (harhar)

Since I don't really have a lot of fat to shed, my treatment only lasted for 15 minutes. At first I was really skeptical because I thought only procedures that need needles are effective. But I witnessed with my own eyes how the very short 15-minute was able to shed centimeters from the waist line!

Renew Placenta Classic Herbal Soap Review

I have heard a lot about this Renew Placenta soap. I finally got a bar of it so I thought of reviewing it here. When I got it, I was already using a lot of products so I asked my Mom to use it instead. Just like me, my Mom also has problems on her skin, mostly dark spots and pigmentation. 

Before we get to the actual review, let me tell you first a few things about Renew Placenta Soap.

Renew Placenta is an Herbal Beauty Soap that promises to whiten and give an anti-aging effect to the skin.  It has natural placenta extracts that cleans, refreshes and whitens the skin. It also increases moisture and suppleness of the skin leaving it young, smooth and white.

PRICE : Php 100 per bar

Honestly, I was expecting it would be a white or clear bar since the box says "placenta" but to my surprise, the soap bar comes in orange color, like a Papaya and Kojic soap.

My Mom has very sensitive skin so a simple scratching will lead to scarring. She has lots of dark spots and her skin is also starting to show signs of aging. It also doesn't help that she likes scratching her skin a lot so she often gets lots of scars.

Here's her skin BEFORE and AFTER using the Renew Placenta Soap: 

In the left photo, you can see that her skin had very dark spots, some seem to be fresh. She also had dark skin and some very visible pores. There are also lines around her eyes that make her skin look tired and old. 

In the right photo, 2 weeks after using the Renew Placenta Herbal Soap, you can see that the skin became lighter and tighter. It's also amazing how the fresh wound on the area near the mouth dried up and the dark spots and scars became lighter and less visible. Her skin also looks a bit younger now because it became supple and smoother.

I was actually impressed with this soap. I see my Mom use a lot of products to help her with her dark spots and scars. Few of the products she have used worked but some of them were just expensive and ineffective. I was impressed because the soap is inexpensive but it worked on her. I asked her what she thinks about the soap and she said she actually liked it!

She is still using the soap until now and I have seen that her skin became tighter and smoother. The dark spots are even more less visible now.

So, that's how the Renew Placenta Soap works. I have also recently gotten the complete set of this brand. I loved how it worked on my Mom so I will use the complete set on me and will update you guys on the result. Please stay tuned!

Truderm Papaya Tropical Fruits Soap Review

Asians, Southeast Asians in particular, usually have dark complexion. But we are also the people that love whitening our skin the most. There are lots of whitening treatments, creams and products in the market. And if you are one of the people that want to whiten your skin, I am sure you have also tried almost all of those. 

Here in the Philippines, one of the most popular and most effective way of whitening our skin is by using Papaya Soap. Papaya soap is effective in skin whitening because it contains Papain, a natural enzyme that promotes skin renewal and cell turnover.

In this post, I will be using Truderm Papaya Soap. It has papaya extracts and also loaded with tropical fruits extracts that is specially formulated to whiten skin and keep it clear, fair and pimple-free.

Here are the other ingredients of the Truderm Papaya Soap :
Watermelon - Loaded with Vitamin A that assists to reduce the size of pores on the skin and consequently minimize excessive secretion of oil.
Mangosteen - Proved to be naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-microbial. Helps to relieve or completely eliminate acne and skin disorders.

CONS :

• Gives a bit of stinging effect, especially on the first use
• Gives a bit of reddish color, especially on the cheek area

Overall, this is a nice new soap brand to try! What I love most about this brand is that it smells so, so good! Lathering it on your face and body will surely be heavenly, because you know it will eventually whiten your skin and because it smells so good. The price is also very inexpensive compared to other whitening products. What's also good is that it is a Filipino product so every time you buy a bar, you are supporting a local brand. This is safe for everyday use and with regular use, you will notice your skin become cleared, smoother ans whiter!

Soniclear (Michael Todd) Anti-Microbial Facial Cleansing Brush Review

I have tried a lot of products for my skin and for my acne. Some of them improved my skin while some of them only worked for a short time then my skin broke out again. I was going to believe acne and bad skin are two things I have to deal with for the rest of my life. Until I realized that beautification must begin from within. Right where everything should start and end - CLEANSING YOUR SKIN.

I was sent this brush called SONICLEAR a few months back. But I was not able to review it right away because, as always, I wanted to use the product first and make sure it works before I recommend it to you guys.

The product is called Soniclear by Michael Todd. It is a facial cleansing brush that aims to keep skin clean, fresh and dirt and germ-free!

This is my skin after the initial use of the Soniclear brush. As you can see, I have a red mark on the left cheek. My skin doesn't have a lot of pimples but the problem with my skin is that it looks old because of the ice-pick scars and some dry/flaky areas. I also dislike that my skin is super oily. After the first use of Soniclear brush, I noticed that my skin became tighter and has that instant glow! It also looks bit brighter because the deep-seated dirt has been removed by the brush. 

After more than a month of using the Soniclear, I noticed that my skin became less oily. I also like that it made my skin appear tighter and so much brighter because dirt that my oily skin acquired throughout the day doesn't get left-out on my skin. 

PROS :

• It is effective
• It is safe, natural and non-harmful to the skin
• It leaves skin feeling and looking fresh
• It removes dirt, oil and bacteria 
• Effective in removing excess makeup
• Prevents breakout because your skin is always clean and fresh after every use
• No stingy feel
• It is also relaxing as it feels like you are massaging your face while cleansing it

CONS :

• A bit pricey
• Product must be shipped fro the USA to where you are

Overall, this is a nice product to try. If you have extra bucks to spend, I suggest getting this brush. It is always better to have clean skin rather than investing in "beautifying" topical products. The brush is sturdy and lasts for a long time. An overnight charging of the brush will keep it working for over a month, which means you get to save electricity as well.  It is safe to use everyday, even with some pimple spots on the face. I really like this brush and I like how it keeps my skin clean and renewed each night!

Ever Bilena Cheek Blush with UVA/UVB Protection Review and Swatches

I don't think I have ever blogged or reviewed blush products before. So this post is a first! Yay! I guess the reason for that is because I only have very few blush products. It's amazing how a thin swipe of blush in the morning can last the whole day. That's why I never really felt the need to hoard. 

But even before I started blogging, one of the local blush brands that I like has always been Ever Bilena. They have awesome shades and it's also amazing how their packaging looks like MAC's at first! hehe So today, I'll be reviewing 3 shades of Ever Bilena's Cheek Blush.

Ever Bilena is one of the leading local make-up brands here in the Philippines. It is quite known and almost every woman here owns a thing or two from EB. 

Question : Is it important to apply blush? 

The answer : IT IS. Especially if you are going for that complete, made-up look. Blush works wonders for the face, giving the face a sexy look, contouring the face and giving warmth and a flush of color. However, if not used appropriately, blush can make someone look cheap and trashy. The key here is to strive to look as close to natural as possible. Choosing the right shade to match the natural skin tone also helps to achieve the perfect "blush-y" look.

• Too powdery
• Makes my pores/acne scars more visible

Here's how each shade looks when applied on the cheeks. I purposely applied a bit too much so you guys could see the true colors. ^^

Honest is too striking while Raisin seems like a shade for people with paler/fairer skin tone. My favorite among the three has got to be the EARTH. I have dark, Morena skin so the other 2 were too bright and too striking. Earth, on the other hand, complimented my color and looked natural. It contoured my face well and gave me nice color without looking overboard. I already see myself using this shade often. 

This is a nice product to try, if you haven't yet. It is also nice that the price is very affordable so you can totally afford to get a couple of pans. Also a great product to try, especially for girls that are just beginning to start learning about make-up and don't have a lot of budget yet.
