Divisoria Back-to-School OOTD + Giveaway | DIVI Series Part 2

It's Back-to-School season once again! Here in the Philippines, almost every school implements wearing of uniform. But for some, the first day is an exemption. I remember when I was still a student, I would always be excited to go back to school to study, to see my friends again and to dress up and look nice! If you are a student, the only few times you are allowed to come in casual clothing are: Christmas Party, School Fair and the First-Day of School. But I also clearly remember not having a lot of money to shop for clothes back then. My solution to that was Divisoria!

I decided to do this video for students that want to look good on the first day of school but don't have a lot of money to spend. I have also FINALLY gotten a model for my video, a concept that I originally wanted to do when I started on YouTube 5 years ago.

Enjoy the video!

My model for this video is Genna Rodriguez. She is actually my friend's cousin! Hehe I thought it would be nice to see someone else in our video instead of the usual, plain and boring me. Meheheh

Most of the outfits are below Php 500! That is really something students should be happy about. When I was still studying and didn't have any means to earn my own money, Php 500 seamed so much!

Here are the 4 OUTFITS shown in the video. ALL the items are from DIVISORIA!

OUTFIT #1
Floral Dress - Php 100
Denim Polo - Php 300

OUTFIT #2
Crop Top - Php 90
Bandana - Php 50
Ripped Pants - Php 300

OUTFIT #3
Top - Php 90
Denim Pants - Php 300
Plaid Polo - Php 100

OUTFIT #4
Pullover - Php 200
Skater Skirt - Php 100

I love all the outfits, especially outfit #1 and outfit #3! Those 2 are the outfits I would most probably wear, even though I'm too old to be going to school anymore.

I styled the outfits, filmed the video and was the one that edited as well. I realized that it is so much easier to have models. It's also refrehing to see someone esle  instead of just me, don't you think? If you guys liked this idea, let me know so I could ask all my friends and cousins to be my models for my videos! Hehe

I hope you guys liked this video. Good luck to my readers that are going back to school/have gone back already! More than being famous on internet or having loads of followers on social media, it is most important to study first so you'd  have a clear road ahead of you.

Don't forget about our little Back-To-School Giveaway that is bound to end soon! ENTER while you still can!

K-Pop Concert Outfit Ideas (EXO'Lusion Manila)

This year, I promised myself I'd spend more on experiences and less on material things. When I say experiences, TRAVEL and CONCERTS are some of the things on my mind.

This weekend, EXO'Lusion Manila is finally happening! What are you going to wear to the concert? One of the things that must be considered when dressing up for a concert, especially to a K-pop concert, is comfort. That's why I decided to upload a video to give you some K-pop Concert Outfit ideas.

Would you believe that it took me 3 months to finish this video?? This was supposed to be uploaded before the Infinite Effect Manila Concert but I got so caught up with things that I didn't have enough time to finish editing. Good thing, though, Pulp announced the EXO'Lusion concert right after the Infinite Effect concert!

Here is the video. I hope you enjoy it!

OUTFIT #1 : CASUAL and NEUTRAL

This outfit is for the concert goers that don't want to let other people know that his/her destination is to a K-pop concert. The style is casual yet comfortable.

Truth be told, this is what I wore to the Infinite Effect concert. It surely was an EPIC WEEKEND! Read my Infinite Effect Blog HERE.

OUTFIT # 2 : GIRLY GOER

This outfit was inspired by Girl's Generation Party music video where they were wearing lace top, super-short denim and flower crown! It exudes that perfect Summer vibe, though I understand it's not Summer yet. But being in a crowded place would surely feel hot and one would be sweaty. Wearing breathable top is something one would be thankful for.

I'd wear this if I wear to go to a girl-group concert!

OUTFIT # 3 : THE AFICIONADO

At a concert venue, the most popular outfits are Statement shirts, Logo Shirts and Bias shirts. Wearing a shirt that tells exactly what you are looks cool and trendy!

For some reason, black and white combination also reminds me of EXO. And adding a touch of red like red hat or red sneakers would remind me of Chen. Am I the only one?

I hope you like the outfits! Nothing over the top because comfort is what you want to be after for. Trust me. I have lined up and waited for 9 hours under scorching sun more than once so I know that wedge sneakers and tube top would make me look fashionable but extremely uncomfortable! Hehe

Will you be at the EXO'Lusion tomorrow and on Sunday? Follow me on Instagram @RealAsianBeauty and let me know if you're going. For #TeamBahay, I will try to film a vlog viceo so be sure you are subscribe to our YouTube channel!

Last Minute Halloween Outfit Ideas For Lazy People

Happy All Saints Day and All Souls Day, everyone! I am in Tarlac as I am writing this blog and will go to the cemetery in a few hours. I am also filming some video vlogs showing how Halloween here is. So, I hope you guys stay tuned for that.

Anyway, I did a video on our YouTube channel showing some quick and easy Halloween outfit ideas for the lazy people! I say easy because none of the items I wore in the video was bought. Everything was already available in my closet and I just had to mix and match.

Watch the video below :

OUTFIT 1 : COWBOY

The first outfit is a Cowboy outfit. I am sure a lot of people have plaid polo and denim pants so this should be easy. Though, you would want to add a bandanna and high-cut boots to complete your look. I found a Cowboy hat in my Mom's closet so I decided to wear it as well. But you can go without it and would still look like a Cowboy... or a Cowgirl. hehe

OUTFIT 2 : CATWOMAN

Another super easy outfit is this cat woman or cat girl outfit. I was supposed to wear black tank top and black leggings but I thought a little black dress would be present in almost every closet since it's a staple item. I added a cute Leopard ears and black flats to complete the look.

OUTFIT 3 : PIN-UP GIRL

This, for me, is the easiest out of all the outfits I showed in the video, It's just denim on denim paired with some red accessories. I love how sleek and classy it looks yet still modern and fashionable. This is also an outfit you could pull-off even on a normal day.

If you watch the video until the end, I am sure you have seen the 4th outfit I showed. It was just a crazy idea I had but then I decided to just go with it. If I were to go to a costume party and only has a day to prepare, I would totally wear outfit number 4!! hehe

Happy Halloween, everyone! I hope you have a safe and peaceful holiday with your loved ones.

Students will go back to School on the 2nd and on the 3rd of November that's tomorrow and the day after tomorrow! Hehe Good luck to my readers that are still students. ^^

TWO NINE

I haven't uploaded any ootd post for so long that I forgot how I do it. I honestly had to check my previous posts to see how I put the credits and the links. Have you guys missed my "feelingera" outfit of the day posts? hehe

I've kept this dress in my closet for so long because I was saving it for a special occasion and also because this is a bit too revealing to be worn in my country. It's not that our fashion sense is outdated nor because we are too conservative but because there are just many annoying cat-callers on our streets! The last thing a woman here would want is a creepy greeting from a random guy. Geesh, there are just a lot of things I wish us Filipinos could improve or stop doing that just wishing about it already makes me sad.

Anyway, I finally wore it so I thought of sharing some photos!

Leopard-print Maxi Dress - Sammydress.com
Heels - CMG
Hat - Penshoppe
Sunglasses - Sunnies
Necklace/Rings - H&M (gift from SG reader,Mae)

I also recently turned 29! I don't know if I should be happy because I am getting older or if I should be sad because I AM getting older. They say age is just a number, though, so here I am embracing my numbers, literally! hehe

To be honest, I don't feel 29 yet. To some, I don't even look 29. But for me, getting a bit older doesn't only mean being out of the calendar, having saggy skin and having more stress and responsibilities. Getting older means being more wise and mature. I am 29 but I still play with kids and act silly sometimes because... why not? There are too many stressful things in our lives and for me, a good way of de-stressing is to get out of your zone every now and then. We are going to be "old" for the next years of our lives so why not do some childish and fun stuff while you still can? Life is short, anyway. ^^

I'm sorry, did I mumble throughout the post? I told you I forgot how I do this. I just hope I could meet my friends often again so I could force-ask them again to take some photos like this for me. I honestly missed my ootd posts, though a little "feelingera"! hehe Did you miss it too?

Thanks for reading!

How To Look Like A K-pop Star : HYUNA (Bubble Pop) 김현아 ♪

This is something I've been wanting to do for the longest time! One of the things that make people like K-pop is their beauty/make-up style and their fashion. Hyuna, being like one of the K-pop goddesses, surely deserves to be in the pilot episode of this "K-pop look" series!

When I hear "Hyuna", the first thing that comes to my mind is her song Bubble Pop. It may be old but her aura and sexiness in the video will definitely not get old. Here's my take at Hyuna's look!

Have you watched the music video? I love how almost all of Hyuna's outfits in the video are simple and don't get out of style easily. It's also a plus point that the items are pretty basic so you could get them at local malls or stores.

Here are some of the outfits I decided to copy:

Please watch the video here :

I love how the outfit is so wearable! Valentine's day is also just a few days away so you may want to consider wearing this ensemble on that day, too. That is if you are going out on that day. I probably would be on a bus then, travelling back to Tarlac to spend time again with my Grandfather for a few weeks. hehe

WHAT I WORE :
Red Cropped Top - Forever 21
Denim Jacket - H&M
Denim Shorts - Aeropostale
Red Sneakers - Converse
Silver Watch - Timex

Ooh Ooh Ooh Oh Oh!

Cringe-worthy but I also tried the other 2 outfits. ^^ I was not able to shoot outside so the photos are low quality. Legs are too dark because I only had the spotlight on my face! hehe

WHAT I WORE :
Left :
Floral Dress - SheInside.com
Glittery Heels - Korean Brand

Right :
Black Undies - Wacoal
Red Off-shoulder Top - Forever 21
Denim Shots - Aeropostale
Leopard-print Heels - Thrifted

Fact : I used to dislike Hyuna (a lot) because Sunggyu of Infinite, about 2 years ago, kept saying that his ideal type was Hyuna. As an immature fan, that was a taboo and something I didn't like hearing. Instead of disliking Gyu, I disliked Hyuna instead. hehe But when Sunggyu stopped mentioning Hyuna, I started seeing her in a different light and finally appreciated her beauty and sexiness!

What do you think of this look? Yay or Nay?

This is just the first episode of this series! SM and JYP artists soon! ^^ Do you have any requests or suggestions? Let us know in the comments section below!

Have a great day!

Inexpensive/Thrifted Christmas Outfit Ideas

Hello, beauties! Only 2 days 'til Christmas! What are you up to? As I am typing this blog post, our kitchen is busy, messy and smells so good because of all the cooking that my mom and grandma and I are doing! Yay!

I am sure you still have parties and events to attend. What to wear, though? I uploaded a video showing some really cute, comfy and super inexpensive Christmas outfit ideas!

Please watch here :

OUTFIT 1 - Christmas Stockings

I got the leopard print sweater from a thrift shop aka Ukay-ukay for only Php 50! So cheap, right? I love how it looks so unique plus it has one of my favorite color combinations : pink, black and gray!

OUTFIT 2 - Party Animal

I got the top from a local flea market/bazaar. I really love the combination of red and leopard! It has become a staple Christmas outfit for me!

OUTFIT 3 - Red Wine

Both the skirt and the sweater are not branded. The point of this outfit is the leopard print scarf that I got for Php 150.

OUTFIT 4 - Dried Flowers

I completed the 6 outfits but still needed 1 more. I saw the leggings that I have in my closet that I got from Forever 21. I wanted to pair a loose sweater with it so I went to a local ukay-ukay near my home. I wanted to pair it with a gray sweater but glad I found this one instead for Php 50! The print on the sweater matches my leggings and my boots!

OUTFIT 5 - Rainy Christmas

The point of this outfit are the rainy boots and the clear umbrella. The sweater and the skirt were from Romwe but the shoes and umbrella were from local stores. The rain boots were from SM Department store and the clear umbrella was from SM as well. Perfect outfit for rainy days in December!

OUTFIT 6 - Ugly Sweater

Christmas is the only acceptable time to wear ugly Christmas outfit ideas. ^^ I got it from Php 50 as well.

OUTFIT 7 - Last-Minute Shopping

This outfit is perfect for days when you want to look laid-back and be comfortable. You may need to change your shoes, though! hehe I really like the Celfie shirt that I got from Tomato! This is one of my favorite outfits out of the 7!

What do you guys think and which outfit would you wear? Let us know by leaving a comment below!

Outfits of the Week : Floral

Printed clothes are my go-to when I need a sudden boost to my look or when I'm just really lazy to dress up but don't want it to be obvious. I like how the shirt of the skirt itself could go on its own without the need for any over-the-top accessories anymore.

Here are some of them :

Please watch the video for more details about the 3 outfits! :)

I have already posted photos of these outfits. Check out OUTFIT 1 here, OUTFIT 2 here and OUTFIT 3 here.

Thank you for reading! What's your plan for today?
