Plaid it. (plus some tips)

Hi, Lovies! Here is a simple yet posh outfit I wore today. As you all know, my love for black is eternal. Here, I just went with my all-black-everyday outfit,  added a plaid wool scarf *for a little color and a black tote bag.

It's really hard to look posh everyday when it's winter (or at least for me). That feeling when you just want to wear a thigh high leather boots with a fitted wool dress and feel like a model with shopping bags hanging all over your arms, but you can't because you will literally freeze to death (The "Tiis-Ganda" look haha). Trust me, been there, done that and died (hahaha kidding but I got sick though). I was that Tiis-Ganda girl before, until I've learned how to layer things up without looking like a messed up confused fashion blogger. You see, layering or accessorizing makes your outfit turn from simple to it-took-me-an-hour-to-put-this-all-together outfit. Details makes an outfit interesting. Like for example, if I wore a plane black boots without laces and a plane black scarf, I would look like I was heading straight to a funeral (I'd still dig that all black outfit though). Are you getting anything of what I am saying here? hahahahaha! What I'm trying to say is, you can spice things up a little by adding layers or details to your outfit, but I recommend picking at least 2 to 3 different shades of color only or you will just look like a colorful piñata. But still! it's all up to you! Wear what you want to wear. Besides, Style is a way of expressing oneself.

"My Belgian Rose"

After Paris, we went straight to Brussels, Belgium by train. Wouldn't wanna miss a Belgian Waffle!!

Do you wanna hear something cool? Did you know that French Fries originated in Belgium? Not in France. American soldiers stationed in Belgium were first introduced to french fries during World War. As the official language of the Belgian army was French, soldiers nicknamed the delicious fried potatoes "French Fries". Anyway, Belgium is a small but very beautiful country (specially at night), and is also historic. I fell in love with this country mainly because of the variety of food they have. From Praline Chocolates, Belgian Waffle, French Fries to Moules frites and Gegratineerde witloof.
Though it was extremely cold and rainy in Brussels, it didn't stop us from touring around. I was astonished by the historic edifices all around the city and of course the world famous Manneken Pis and Atomium!

On to the outfit..

"City of Lights"

Hi Lovies!! I know I haven't been posting again that much. Blame my school for that haha! Okay, So this will be my first post for this year! Spent the 1st day of 2015 in Paris, the forever beautiful "City of Lights". Long story short, we were supposed to celebrate the new year's eve there, but our flight got cancelled! Unfortunately, there was a strike on the date we were meant to depart. Instead of 3 days in Paris, we only had a day to roam around. I gotta admit, it was hella tiring! but I'm still thankful I got to visit this place once more and will surely visit it again in the future, Hopefully, by then, I already have a boyfriend *fingers crossed hahaha kidding!

Nero

Hi lovies!! It really has been awhile and I'm so happy to be posting again! It's autumn but it still feels like summer here in Milan. Kidding, the weather here is so bipolar. Moving on to the outfit.. As some of you may have noticed, I love black. There's just something with this colour that makes me feel sexy and classy at the same time. On this outfit, I paired my pencil cut skirt with a crop top to show a little skin. I wore my chunky boots and leather jacket to give it a little edge.

Monte Carlo Bound

Last Saturday, I was craving really bad for KFC. Luckily, my Mom was in for some road trip that day! We have decided to visit Monte Carlo and pass by Nice to get loads of Chicken. It was seriously a very tiring day. Monte Carlo is like 4 hr drive from Milan, without traffic. But summing it all up, it was a day well spent with my Mom. Anyway, this won't be long, 'cause as you all know, I'm a lazy ass mother f****r.
